Kevin Powers

Kevin Powers is a Martin County native, raised in Indiantown. Kevin attended Florida State University, where he received a B.S. in Economics. Kevin spent many years in the citrus industry serving in capacities that included global sales and marketing, citrus importation, and consulting, then returning to Indiantown owning and operating his own grove and packing operation. The liquidation process of Kevin’s citrus holdings due to citrus greening and the decline of the Florida Citrus industry created a logical path to real estate services and the creation of Indiantown Realty Corp. est. 2005. Indiantown Realty Corp. is a full-service real estate firm serving western Martin County, as well as, clients throughout Florida and many parts of the US.

Kevin’s resume of community service includes:

• South Florida Water Management District, Governing Board Member/Vice Chairman – serving eight years under two Florida Governors.
• Founding Board Member, Indiantown High School (institution focused on career-bound youth in partnership with Indian River State College).
• Martin County Taxpayers Association, President. MCTA was established in 1950 as a citizen review organization focused on local tax issues. MCTA is the oldest organization of its kind in the State of Florida.
• Indiantown Independence Group, founding member. This small leadership group was instrumental in creating the Village of Indiantown [the newest municipality in the State of Florida] in 2017.

Kevin and his wife Marsha reside in Stuart and are the proud parents of three successful young adults.
